What it is - An American History and Culture PBS video collection and service that provides online teaching resource materials for about 300 videos on topics in American History. The link is PBS VIDEOindex®.

The website contains supplemental materials such as speeches, time lines, activity suggestions, and historical reports to supplement the videos.Each program is indexed online and on the video for easy access to specific segments.

Accessing the site - Go to PBS VIDEOindex®. Search by keyword, academic area and audience level. Select the link "Using the database" for further instructions.

Obtaining videos - Titles are cataloged with the same volume number PBS uses. Vol. 347 is VHS PBS 0347.
