Serials are publications, in any format, issued in successive parts bearing numeric and/or chronological designations and intended to be published indefinitely. Because of this inherent complexity, a team of acquisitions specialists and cataloging specialists work together to place orders, receive, and catalog this category of material. This unit also maintains the knowledgebase that supports Milner's Find It (SFX) service and related e-journal discovery tools.
