Film reviews, including short to medium length articles, can be found in numerous publications from popular peridocials such as Newsweek or Time to specialized film periodicals such as Sight & Sound.
If you are looking for film reviews from the recent past (20 years) interdisciplinary databases such as Academic Search Premier or Academic Universe (Lexis-Nexis) are good places to begin your search. Academic Search Premier covers Time, Newsweek, The Nation, Rolling Stone, Sight & Sound.
Academic Universe provides coverage of New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post.
