Participants will learn to effectively access, integrate, and produce lessons utilizing the Internet and digitized primary source materials from the collections of the Library of Congress. These lessons will follow The Learning Page lesson format while meeting Illinois State Learning Standards. Participants will focus on the nature of primary sources and classroom applications for digital technology and will have a hands-on experience using historical texts, photographs, motion pictures, maps, and sound recordings from the Library of Congress American Memory Collections. This workshop is appropriate for all subjects at all grade levels.
