Participants will learn how to enhance existing lessons and units using the resources from the Library of Congress American Memory Collections. Participants will evaluate lessons within The Learning Page and analyze the relevance to the classroom. Participants will be guided through the process of creating a lesson using The Learning Page format. Participants will examine how to meet Illinois State Learning Standards using these lessons. This workshop is appropriate for all subjects at all grade levels.
